Welcome - 2016-2017
Welcome to Mrs. Noon’s fourth grade class at Little Lake Elementary! I look forward to sharing in this year of growth and learning with you. Fourth grade is an exciting place to be! My primary job will be to create an excitement for learning while teaching you many new concepts. We can all look forward to many exciting and rewarding experiences together!
Here is a little bit about myself. I was born in Hemet, but moved to the Temecula area 33 years ago-- back when there was just one stoplight. I have been married to Mr. Noon, a high school math teacher, for 14 years and have 3 little puppies, Charlie, Romo, and B.G. and a turtle named Squirtle. As you can probably guess, I am a huge animal lover and would have a million pets if my husband would let me.
I've always wanted to be a teacher! I earned my bachelor’s degree in sociology and Master’s in Education and began teaching 9 years ago. Although this is my first year teaching fourth grade, I taught third grade for four years at Hillcrest Academy and fifth grade for five years at Temecula Preparatory school. Teaching is my ultimate dream job and I am thrilled to be back in Hemet to teach all of you.
I believe that every child can be successful! I hold high expectations for both academics and positive social behavior, and will do everything in my power to help students reach those expectations. I provide a structured, enjoyable environment to maximize learning, and to strengthen academic success. Every child is capable of learning, and I will do my best to help the students grow as much as they can throughout the school year.
I am looking forward to a great year and I’m sure you are too!
