Dear Parents and students,

     

     Welcome to Miss Rodriguez's 3rd grade class. I am looking forward to meeting you all and having a great school year with some new and exciting learning experiences.  

     Here is a little bit about myself. I was born in Escondido and moved to Temecula when I was going into 3rd grade and have been there for 23 years. I just bought my first house, so am now a home owner which is exciting and a new journey for me.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and Master's in Education and began teaching 8 years ago. My first two years of teaching were overseas in Bratislava, Slovakia. I taught fourth grade at an international school, which was such an amazing experience. After that I subbed for two years and now this will be my fourth year teaching 3rd grade at Little Lake Elementary School. I have wanted to be a teacher since first grade and I couldn't be happier having my dream job and being able to make a difference like teachers and others have for me. On another note, I love being outdoors doing anything from hiking, camping, Mt. biking, and playing tennis. I also love traveling when ever I can and bringing my experiences into the classroom for students to enjoy and get excited about. 

    I hope you all enjoyed your summers and I can't wait to hear all about them.
