Welcome to Second Grade in Room 109!!

I am Mrs. Alvarez and am so excited to have your child in my class.  I have been a part of the Little Lake Elementary as parent, substitute, and teacher for the past 7 years.  Prior to my involvement here at Little Lake, I taught in the Los Angeles area for a several years.  I received my bachelors and masters degree in Education from California State University Dominguez Hills and have always wanted to be a teacher.  I can clearly remember at a very young age having the desire to teach and help others.  It is with this same desire and passion that I will embark on this 2017-2018 school year.  I am looking forward to working with you and your child during this time.  Please feel free to communicate with me via email at [email protected] (the easiest and fastest way to contact me) or (951) 765-1660 at extension 202.
